It's another Fun Fold Friday in Mrs. Rogers' Stamperhood!

At last week's Thoughtful Journey Stamp Camp, I introduced a 6-piece puzzle slider card. I had taken seen examples of a 4-piece and an 8-piece, but not a 6-piece, so I did some math and designed one specifically for the class. This is that card:

I will provide measurements for the basics of the 6-piece at the end of this post, but for tonight, I'm focusing on the 4-piece puzzle slider card and using the Flowering Zinnias DSP, which is an Online Exclusive. BTW, there is a coordinating stamp and die bundle that coordinates with the DSP and it's part of the stamp-a-die-bundle sale all this month!

Measurements
  • Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (9-1/2" x 4-1/4")
  • Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (two 2-1/8" x 2-1/4")
  • Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (two 2-1/8" x 3-1/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (5-1/4" x 4", scrap)
  • Flowering Zinnia DSP
    • Zinnia stems pattern (5" x 3-3/4"... landscape orientation)
    • Tiny zinnia pattern (1" x 5-1/4")

Directions
  1. Score 9-1/2" x 4-1/2" Lemon Lime Twist cardstock on the longside at 1", 2", 7-1/2" and 8-1/2". Fold toward the center on the two inside score marks and then fold backon the outer score marks.
  2. Adhere one of the shorter Lemon Lime Twist layers to the top left edge of the card base (Step 1), then adhere one of the longer LLT layers below that. Take care to make sure layers are lined up well.
  3. Adhere the remaining long LLT layer to the top right edge of the card base, then adhere the remaining shorter LLT layer below that, taking care to make sure layers are lined up well.
  4. Cut the 5" x 3-3/4" DSP layer in half lengthwise (into two 5" x 1-7/8" pieces). Cut the top piece on the long side at 3". Cut the bottom piece on the long side at 2".
  5. Keeping the original pattern of the 5" x 3-3/4" layer, adhere the DSP pieces created in Step 4 to the coordinating LLT layers.
  6. Punch or die cut a circle from the scrap white, add a sentiment and adhere to card front, embellishing as desired.
  7. Cut the tiny zinnia pattern DSP into two 1/2" wide strips. Adhere one to the top and one to the bottom of the Basic White layer. Stamp as desired and adhere to the inside of the card.
