Changing Leaves...not quite yet!

It's still summery here in southern Maine, but the nights are getting cooler and it won't be long before the leaves begin changing. Until then, I have a card for you made with the Changing Leaves bundle, an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up! It's currently on backorder, but should be in the week of September 9th. And in case you missed my Tune in Tuesday class a few days ago, I've linked to it after the link to the replay of my Friday Night Live where I created this card.

Measurements

  • Crumb Cake card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded in half at 5-1/2")
  • Basic White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4", various sizes of scraps for leaves and sentiment)
  • Country Woods DSP (2-3/4" x 4")
  • Linen Thread (four 6" lengths)

Directions
  1. Adhere DSP layer to Basic White layer. Lay the four lengths of Linen Thread next to each other to cover the area where the DSP meets the Basic White in the middle of the card. Adhere on back side with tape or desired adhesive.
  2. Adhere Basic White/DSP layer to card base using Dimensionals.
  3. Stamp large leaf in Copper Clay ink on Basic White scrap and die cut.
  4. Stamp the maple leaf in Calypso Coral ink on Basic White scrap and die cut. Also stamp this leaf in the lower left corner of the inside of the card and on envelope.
  5. Stamp the remaining leafy image (three leaves) in Lost Lagoon on Basic White scrap and die cut.
  6. Stamp sentiment in Copper Clay ink on Basic White scrap and die cut with oval die.
  7. Arrange leaves as desired and adhere to card base. I used Dimensionals on the tops of the large leaf and glue elsewhere.
  8. Adhere sentiment using Dimensionals.
  9. Add Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
