THREE Pretty Gold Flowered Cards

On tonight's Friday Night (Not So) Live video, I showed how to create these three elegant cards using Stampin' Up!'s outgoing Gold Foiled Flowers Cards & Envelopes. This product is on the Last Chance List, so grab them while you can!

A complete supply list for all three cards can be found at the bottom of this post, as well as a link to the replay of my Friday Night (Not So) Live.

CARD 1 Directions

  1. Stamp sentiment in Versamark ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and heat emboss using Gold embossing powder. Die cut using the middle "rectangle" die from the Something Fancy dies.
  2. Determine where your sentiment layer will go on the card and add adhesive (I used Tear & Tape) to the area. Apply a zig-zag of Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon to the area.
  3. Adhere sentiment over ribbon using Dimensionals.

CARD 2 Directions
  1. Cut the Gold Flowers card down to get a panel that measures 3-3/4" x 5" (portrait).
  2. Using a Blending Brush, blend Pool Party ink into the top left corner, moving diagonally down the layer toward the center.
  3. Using a Blending Brush, blend Pretty Peacock ink from the bottom right corner toward the center.
  4. Adhere layer to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 -1/4").
  5. Using the same Blending Brush as you just used, blend Pretty Peacock ink onto the wing edges of a paper butterfly.
  6. Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Pool Party and die cut using the same die as you did in Card 1.
  7. Adhere sentiment layer to card front using Dimensionals.
  8. Adhere butterfly to card using basic adhesive where it attaches to the sentiment and a tiny piece of Dimensional to the largest area of the wings to give it a little support.
  9. Add three Pretty Peacock sequins.
  10. Decorate a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Very Vanilla as desired (perhaps using a strip of the Gold Flowers that you have left over) and layer on the inside of the card.

CARD 3 Directions
  1. Trim the remaining piece of the Gold Foil Flowers card used on Card 2 to measure 2-1/2" x 5" (portrait).
  2. Color with Stampin' Blends. I used Sweet Sorbet, Fresh Freesia and Soft Sea Foam.
  3. Layer colored piece onto a layer of Gold Foil that measures 2-3/4" x 5-1/4", then adhere to the left side of a Sweet Sorbet card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 -1/4").
  4. Stamp sentiment in Sweet Sorbet ink on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punch using the Decorative Circle punch. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals.
  5. Tie a small bow using the Gold Satin-Edged Ribbon and adhere to sentiment layer with a Mini Glue Dot.
  6. Color a flower from the scrap of Gold Foil Flowers card remaining using Sweet Sorbet Stampin' Blend, fussy cut and adhere to a Very Vanilla layer that measures 4" x 5-1/4". Adhere layer to inside of card.
