Neutral is Beautiful, not Boring

 The beautiful neutral tones in Nature's Sweetness DSP (Jan-Apr Mini Catalog) works well to create great cards for men, weddings, birthdays,... lots of occasions. This paper is absolutely gorgeous.


Measurements

  • Pebbled Path card base: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4"
  • DSP Pattern 1 (Pebbled Path grid): 2-1/2" x 5-1/4", 1/2" x 5-1/4", 2-3/8' x 6" (for envelope)
  • DSP Pattern 2 (White with Pecan Pie and Pebbled Path words and splatter): 2 1/4" x 4-1/2"
  • DSP Pattern 3 (Pebbled Path with Gold Foil writing): 2-1/2" x 3-1/2"
  • Basic White cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4", scrap for die-cutting sentiment
  • Linen Thread: 18"

Directions
  1. Ink the inside of the crosshatch embossing folder (the half without the logo) using Pebbled Path ink. Press the right front edge of the Pebbled Path card base onto it and rub to transfer the ink.
  2. Adhere DSP Pattern 1 to left edge of card front.
  3. Adhere DSP Pattern 2 about 3/8" from right edge, centered vertically.
  4. Adhere DSP Pattern 3 so that it's just left of center of the card front.
  5. Stamp sentiment in Pebbled Path ink onto Basic White scrap and die cut. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals.
  6. Tie Linen Thread into a bow, trim ends and adhere to the bottom of the die cut using a Mini Glue Dot.
  7. Add Brushed Metallic Dots.
  8. Adhere thin strip of DSP Pattern 1 to the right side of the Basic White panel and then adhere to inside of card.
  9. Adhere remaining DSP Pattern 1 piece to the envelope flap.
