Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Folder to the Rescue!

Have you ever had a card emergency? You know, when you need a card right away but don't really have time to design one? Well, the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder is a tool that will help. You can ink and die cut puffy sentiments from Basic White, then color them with Blends to match the DSP you select to whip up a quick but cute card. Another idea is to create a pack of cards as a gift and include a bunch of coordinating sentiments (with Dimensionals on the back) that the recipient can then use to send a card at a moment's notice.

Cardstock Needed

  • Flirty Flamingo card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4")
  • Real Red cardstock (4" x 5-1/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4" for inside, scrap large enough to punch a 2-1/2" circle)
  • Flirty Flamingo cardstock (6"x6" if you want to die cut all the sentiments at once, or one large enough for the single sentiment you want to use)
  • Most Adored Specialty DSP
    • 1-1/2" x 5" of the Flirty Flamingo plaid design
    • 1-1/4" x 5" of the Real Red with white hearts design
    • 1" x 5" of the marbled Flirty Flamingo design

Directions
  1.  Adhere DSP to Real Red layer, then that to card front.
  2. Apply Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the inside of the Thoughtful Moments Embossing Folder (the half with the SU logo). Lay the die into the folder, o n the inked half. You will feel it click into place.
  3. Lay the Flirty Flamingo cardstock on top, close and run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.
  4. Color in the Love You sentiment with the Real Red Blends.
  5. Punch a 2-1/2" circle from Basic White, then add the sentiment to it with Dimensionals.
  6. Adhere circle to card front and add heart embellishments. (Note: If you don't have heart embellishments, the Thoughtful Moments dies come with some.)
