TAG, you're it!

I received a card in the mail this week (part of a card swap I participated in) and I thought it was absolutely adorable. Kudos to Judith Patterson for inspiring tonight's Friday Night Live! The first card below is her card and the second is my card, using the Perennial Lavender DSP.

Measurements of Supplies (Perennial Lavender card)
  • Lost Lagoon card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (1" x 2-3/4", two 4" x 5-1/4")
  • Perennial Lavender DSP (two different designs, both 2-1/4" x 4-1/2" portrait orientation)
  • Linen Thread (11-13")
Directions
  1. Emboss one of the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White layers using the Exposed Brick folder.
  2. Add Highland Heather ink to the embossed layer with a Blending Brush. Adhere to card base.
  3. Stack the two pieces of DSP together (featured one on top of the other) and die cut using the Tailor Made Tags dies (largest tag die). Position together with a little glue.
  4. Add Linen Thread, tying a bow. Trim ends.
  5. Adhere tags to card front.
  6. Stamp "friend" in Gorgeous Grape on small piece of Basic White, flag the right end and adhere to card front using Dimensionals.
  7. Add purple gems.
  8. Decorate/Stamp remaining Basic White layer as desired and adhere to inside.
And here's another card I made during my Friday Night Live showing that it works with whimsical DSP as well.
