Mrs. Rogers' Stamperhood has Gone to the Dogs!

My sweet doggo, Mila, greeted me enthusiastically when I got home from work this afternoon, as she always does. When is that not fun to come home to? For all the aggravation of Puppy Mila (she ate three pairs of prescription glasses), she's turned into such a wonderful dog. Now the only thing I don't like about her is how much she sheds, but that is beyond her control, so I'll forgive her for that.

Measurements of Paper Supplies

  • Misty Moonlight card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4")
  • Misty Moonlight cardstock (4" x 5-1/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4", 1" x 2", scrap)
  • Vellum Basics (scrap of polka dot design)
Directions
  1. Place Doggone Friendly stamp rubber side up and apply Night of Navy ink to rubber. Lay on Misty Moonlight layer, cover with a piece of copy paper and rub to transfer ink to cardstock.
  2. Using the white watercolor pencil, color areas of dogs that you think would be white in real life.
  3. Using other watercolor pencils, add color to things like bandanas, bows, collars, etc.
  4. Punch Decorative Circle from Vellum Basics scrap (polka dot pattern). Adhere to the right side of card using just a bit of glue in the center.
  5. Stamp sentiment on small Basic White layer, flag the left end and adhere onto the vellum decorative circle.
  6. Trim the parts of the vellum and Basic White sentiment layer that hang over the edge of the Misty Moonlight layer.
  7. Adhere dog layer to card base using Dimensionals.
  8. Add a Boho Blue In Color Dot.
  9. Ink one of the dogs on the stamp and transfer to Basic White scrap as before. Fussy cut and add to the bottom of the large Basic White layer, then adhere to inside of card.
