On the TENTH Sunday of Christmas...
On the tenth Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me a quick and easy tri-fold gift card holder. It uses a third of a sheet of DSP and just a few small pieces of cardstock, ribbon and embellishments.
Important Measurements
A Walk in the Forest DSP (4" x 12")
Basic White cardstock (2-3/4" x 3-3/4", 1" x 2-3/4")
Soft Sea Foam cardstock (2-3/4" x 3-3/4")
Garden Green ribbon (about 18")
Directions
- Score the DSP on the long side at 3", 6", and 9-1/16" (one mark past the 9). Fold and burnish.
- Working on the end of the DSP that is smallest, cut a diagonal that begins about an inch from the bottom of the edge and goes to 1" down the first fold. Cut down the fold to remove the diagonal piece.
- Apply Tear & Tape to the 1" free edge and the bottom edge of that same piece and fold over, forming a pocket.
- Stamp sentiment in Garden Green ink on larger Basic White piece and adhere to the center section.
- Adhere Soft Sea Foam piece to the right-most panel.
- Fold the panel with the Soft Sea Foam in, then fold result in half.
- Stamp outer sentiment on Basic White layer in Garden Green ink. Punch a ribbon hole in each end using the Very Best Trio punch.
- Thread ribbon through holes so that the ribbon goes underneath the sentiment. Tie in a bow. You can add a dimensional to the back to get it to stay in place on the card and keep the sentiment balanced.
- Color the berries and stem of the Textural Element embellishment with Real Red Stampin' Write Marker. I colored the stem in Garden Green Stampin' Write Marker, but I think it would look better natural. Add to gift card holder front with Mini Glue Dots, tucking under the sentiment.
Watch me make it:
