On the ELEVENTH Sunday of Christmas...

On the 11th Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me... a bi-fold gift card holder. Whether you want this to hold two gift cards (dinner and a movie?), or a gift card and receipt, or a gift card and note, this is a super easy way to dress up the gift. And, best of all, it doesn't require much time or supplies!

Measurements

  • A Walk in the Forest DSP (4" x 11-3/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (scrap, 2-1/4" x 3-1/4")
  • Real Red ribbon (18")
Directions
  1. Score DSP on the long side at 2-7/8", 5-7/8", and 8-7/8".
  2. Mark 1" up from the bottom on both the left edge and the right edge.
  3. Cut from the 1" mark on the left to the top of the score line nearest it. Repeat from the 1" mark on the right edge.
  4. Apply Tear & Tape to the 1" section on each end, and also along the bottom of the left section and the bottom of the left section. Remove backing and fold edges onto adjacent section (you'll be folding each edge in so that they almost meet in the middle).
  5. Stamp sentiment on Basic White scrap and punch using the Hexagonal Punch (featured in the Jan-Apr Mini that's coming out Jan. 4, 2024).
  6. Wrap ribbon around the closed gift card holder and tie in a bow on the open edge.
  7. Add Dimensionals to the back of the hexagonal sentiment and adhere to the front of the gift card holder.
  8. Extra Basic White layer is for writing a note, but you could skip this and just add a second gift card.
