On the NINTH Sunday of Christmas...

I love giving little treats this time of year. It's a great way to express gratitude and brighten someone's day. Mail carriers, drive-thru workers, coworkers...there are lots of people whose day could be brightened by a simple expression of appreciation in the form of a treat. And that's especially true if the treat is beautifully packaged.

Measurements

  • Joy of Christmas DSP (greenery & berries pattern, 2-1/2" x 2-1/2")
  • Joy of Christmas DSP (Real Red/Cherry Cobbler leaf pattern (2-9/16" x 12")
  • Cherry Cobbler cardstock (scrap)
  • Garden Green cardstock (scrap)
  • Garden Green ribbon (24")
Directions
  1. Form treat box components into boxes.
  2. Align the 2-1/2" DSP square with the front of the inside box (notched side), flip over and draw around the inside of the notch onto the DSP. Cut out semi-circle. If you have a 1" circle punch, this will work as well.
  3. Adhere notched DSP to the front of the box.
  4. Wrap the long DSP strip around the outside box, creasing along the corners. Adhere with a small amount of adhesive around the edges.
  5. Stamp "joy" in Versamark ink onto Cherry Cobbler scrap, emboss in white and punch using the Double Oval punch.
  6. Punch a leafy bough from Garden Green cardstock and adhere to the front of the box, so that it will peek out from under the sentiment once its placed on.
  7. Adhere sentiment to box front with Dimensionals.
  8. Wrap ribbon around the box and tie in a bow.
