On the NINTH Sunday of Christmas...

Image
I love giving little treats this time of year. It's a great way to express gratitude and brighten someone's day. Mail carriers, drive-thru workers, coworkers...there are lots of people whose day could be brightened by a simple expression of appreciation in the form of a treat. And that's especially true if the treat is beautifully packaged. Measurements Joy of Christmas DSP (greenery & berries pattern, 2-1/2" x 2-1/2") Joy of Christmas DSP (Real Red/Cherry Cobbler leaf pattern (2-9/16" x 12") Cherry Cobbler cardstock (scrap) Garden Green cardstock (scrap) Garden Green ribbon (24") Directions Form treat box components into boxes. Align the 2-1/2" DSP square with the front of the inside box (notched side), flip over and draw around the inside of the notch onto the DSP. Cut out semi-circle. If you have a 1" circle punch, this will work as well. Adhere notched DSP to the front of the box. Wrap the long DSP strip around the outside box, cr...

Inspiration from a Gift

A team member (and recent class participant) brought me a gift last weekend...a roll of wired Christmas ribbon that coordinates with the Trucking Along bundle!  On the eighth Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me...oversized tags! These tags, heavily inspired by my mentor, Ronda Wade, are useful and make a statement all at the same time. One of them even has a secret...it's a gift card holder! On the SEVENTH Sunday of Christmas...

Image
On the seventh Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me...a Christmas tree-shaped treat holder! And it's so adorable in pink. I'm pretty sure it's adorable in any color, though. I need to give a shout out to fellow demonstrator Brenda Quintana who had posted a larger version. I suppose I should give a shout out to God for giving me math and problem-solving skills so that I was able to resize it to a smaller version. Measurements for Smaller Tree (fits about 6 Hershey Kisses) Bubble Bath cardstock (5" x 5" piece for tree front and back), 1-1/2" x 8", 1-1/2" x 7-5/8") Basic White cardstock (scrap for ornaments and star) Soft Shimmer Specialty Paper (Berry Burst, 3-1/4" x 1-1/2" for garland and star) Adhesive Sheet (slightly smaller than the Berry Burst Soft Shimmer paper) Diagram for Sides Directions Stamp tree in Fresh Freesia ink twice on the Bubble Bath square.
