Twelve Sundays of Christmas - Sunday #1
When it comes to my 12 Sundays of Christmas projects, I generally like to save the really quick and easy projects for December, since that's when everyone is short on time and needing little gifts or cute packaging. But today's project is something YOU can use as you begin writing down Christmas lists/notes.
Measurements
- Shining Christmas DSP (two 2-11/16" x 4-7/16") - but you should verify with YOUR comp book
- Cherry Cobbler cardstock (scrap)
- Mossy Meadow cardstock (scrap)
Directions
- Measure the front of your mini composition book (not including the bound edge) and cut DSP to fit. It's better to err on the larger side than not since trimming is easy and edges that show are not preferable.
- Repeat for back cover.
- Stamp a sentiment (or leave blank and write the year or your name) on a scrap of Cherry Cobbler using Versamark ink. Add white embossing powder and heat.
- Punch sentiment using the smooth oval from the Double Oval punch.
- Punch the scalloped oval from the Double Oval punch out of Mossy Meadow cardstock.
- Adhere ovals together using a strong adhesive (Tombow glue or Stampin' Seal+), then adhere to cover.
It's easy enough without the video, I think, but go ahead and watch since there are some tips and tricks included.
