On the FOURTH Sunday of Christmas...

 On the FOURTH Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me - a stand up easel treat holder. This is perfect for keeping Post-It Notes or Dimensionals handy, or playing Secret Santa with a package of hot chocolate mix.



CARDSTOCK/PAPER SUPPLIES & MEASUREMENTS
  • Balmy Blue cardstock (4-1/4" x 11, 4 1/4" x 6-3/4")
  • Pretty Peacock cardstock (4" x 4" and 2-3/4" x 4")
  • A Walk in the Forest DSP (3-3/4" x 3-3/4", 3-3/4" x 2-1/2")
  • Basic White cardstock (scrap for bear)
DIRECTIONS
  1. If starting with a full sheet of Balmy Blue cardstock, cut in half vertically. Cut one of the halves down to 6-3/4" long.
  2. Beginning with the -1/4" x 11" piece of Balmy Blue, score on the long side at 1/2", 1-1/2", 2-1/2" and 6-3/4". Starting on the end with the large sections, mountain fold, mountain fold, valley fold, mountain fold to get easel shape. Apply Tear & Tape to the small 1/2" section near the score line and form easel.
  3. Using the 4-1/4" x 6-3/4" piece of Balmy Blue, score on the long edge at 1/2" and 1". Rotate 180 degrees and score at 1/2" and 1". Both ends should look the same.
  4. On the short side, score at 3/4" and 1-1/4".
  5. Make cuts and remove pieces as shown in the diagram below. then adhere Tear & Tape as shown.
  6. Form box front, remove Tear & Tape backing and attach to easel.
  7. Adhere DSP layers to their respective, slightly larger, Pretty Peacock layers and adhere to project. The larger one goes inside the box, the smaller goes on the front.
  8. Stamp walking polar bear in Pretty Peacock, then add scarf, also in Pretty Peacock. Punch and adhere to project front with Dimensionals.
