Just Lovin' the Alternate Christmas Palette!
I love the options Stampin' Up1 is giving us this year for Christmas. I just saw the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog (available digitally to demonstrators today, not until September for customers) and there are so many fabulous options. But there is an option that is available right now that is every bit as lovely (and popular) as items in the mini catalog, and that's the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP/Horse& Sleigh bundle! The colors are so rich and the nature scenes so peaceful! These items will go long after Christmas, especially if you live in the Northeast, where winters are long.
Measurements of Consumables
- Lost Lagoon card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
- Early Espresso cardstock (4" x 5-1/4")
- One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (3-3/4" x 5")
- Basic White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4", scrap)
- White Glittered Organdy ribbon (11-12")
Directions
- Cut the DSP sheet to the above measurement to give the portion of the scene you want shown.
- Stamp the bunny in Gray Granite directly onto the DSP. You can also stamp on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut.
- Layer DSP onto Early Espresso layer, then onto card front.
- Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto Basic White scrap and die cut using a banner die from Stylish Shapes.
- Determine where you want the banner to go, then apply a line of Stampin' Seal or Tear & Tape underneath. Zig zag the ribbon so that it adheres to the adhesive.
- Add sentiment layer to card front with Dimensionals.
- Add white snowflakes as desired.
- Stamp images on the Basic White layer as desired and adhere to inside of card.
- Stamp a bunny or tree on the envelope.
