Stamp Happy with Bottled Happiness

 Here's a card made with just simple stamping...no punches or dies. I used lots of coordinating product featuring the 2022-2024 In Colors of Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party: ink, cardstock, DSP, baker's twine and matte dots! I also threw in a 2023-2025 In Color, Pebbled Path.




Measurements of papers and twine
  • Pebbled Path card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Sweet Sorbet In Color DSP (4" x 5-1/4")
  • Parakeet Party In Color DSP (3" x 3-3/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (started as 3" x 4", finished as 3" x 3-3/4")
  • Basic White layer for inside (4" x 5-1/4")
  • Sweet Sorbet Baker's Twine (about 15")

Directions
  1. Stamp blooms image in Sweet Sorbet in the upper portion of the Basic White 3" x 4" layer. 
  2. Stamp leaves image in Parakeet Party.
  3. Stamp short vase in Pebbled Path and trim the bottom of the Basic White layer so that the space at the top and bottom are about equal.
  4. Adhere stamped Basic White layer onto Parakeet Party DSP layer on a slight angle.
  5. Ahdere Sweet Sorbet layer onto Pebbled Path card base, then add stamped Basic White/Parakeet Party layers.
  6. Tie a bow using a doubled-up strand of Sweet Sorbet baker's twine, trim ends and adhere to neck of bottle using Mini Glue Dot.
  7. Add In Color matte dots as desired.
  8. Without reinking, huff on the stamps used on the front of the card and stamp onto the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White layer meant for the inside.
  9. Stamp sentiment in full strength ink over the image stamped in previous step.

 It was rainy and cool all day today, but that's not going to dampen my beach vibes! Who Wants Some Apple Cider?

 It's apple season in Maine. I have to be honest, I don't pick a lot of apples. Or drink a lot of apple cider. But I do love apple cider doughnuts, so that counts, right? Tonight, I featured the More than Autumn bundle, which was also featured in my Sept. 24th Tune in Tuesday class. I love this bundle and think you will also! Measurements Crumb Cake card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4") Splendid Autumn DSP (medium green background and deep red background, each 3" x 4-1/2", plus a scrap of the deep red background) Basic White cardstock (5/8" x 3", scraps) Directions Adhere green background layer to card base on an angle, then add the red background layer on top, at a different angle.  Die cut circle from Basic White cardstock.  It's still summery here in southern Maine, but the nights are getting cooler and it won't be long before the leaves begin changing. Until then, I have a card for you made with the Changing Leaves bundle, an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up! It's currently on backorder, but should be in the week of September 9th.
