Flowers are Blooming in my Stamp Studio!

It was a gorgeous day in Maine today, but the flowers aren't quite ready to bloom outside. However, they are blooming in my stamp studio! The Art Gallery stamp set and it's coordinating Floral Gallery dies are on the Last Chance List at 60% off. The catalog price total is $56, but the Last Chance List price is just $22.40. That is an amazing savings and I can't quite figure out why it hasn't sold out yet. But, I'm going to use mine for one more Friday Night Live before they retire.

Cardstock/DSP Measurements

  • Calypso Coral card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Calypso Coral layer (1-3/8" x 4-1/4")
  • Basic White layer (3-1/2" x 4-3/4", 4" x 5-1/4")
  • Fancy Flora DSP (4-1/4" x 5-1/2")
Directions
  1. Die cut 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Basic White layer using second largest rectangle from Scalloped Contours dies.
  2. Using Calypso Coral ink, stamp the less detailed flower image off onto scrap paper first, then onto Basic White rectangle.
  3. Using the more detailed flower image (overlay), stamp using Calypso Coral ink (do not stamp off first).
  4. Add stem/leaves image using Garden Green ink.
  5. Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral ink direction onto Basic White rectangle. If it doesn't stamp well, you can stamp it on a scrap of Basic White and die cut it using one of the label dies.
  6. Adhere DSP to card base.
  7. Adhere the Calypso Coral layer across the middle of the card.
  8. Adhere Basic White rectangle to card front.
  9. Stamp remaining Basic White layer (4" x 5-1/4") as desired and adhere to inside.
  10. Add Iridescent Pastel Gems to the front of the card.
