Wow...this almost feels like I'm looking at a Batman commercial!

I grew up in the 70s watching Batman on TV. Remember the exclamations that popped up on the screen? Pow! Oof! Bam! That's what immediately springs to mind when I look at this card that I CASEd from the Jan-Apr 2023 Mini Catalog.

Measurements (full list of supplies at the bottom of post)

  • Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Basic Black cardstock (4-1/2" x 3-1/4", scrap)
  • Basic White cardstock (4-1/2" x 3-1/4")
Directions
Note: I used a Stamparatus, but you don't have to if you apply the inks together on the stamp. The directions below are for the method I used.
  1. Mount the Rays of Light background stamp on your Stamparatus plate.
  2. Determine placement of your Basic White layer. I use registration marks that I draw in on the grid sheet underneath so that I'll be able to place the layer back if it moves. You could also use a little adhesive that has been "detacked" a bit by your fingers to hold it in place.
  3. Ink stamp with Daffodil Delight ink and stamp onto layer.
  4. Add Pumpkin Pie ink to the outer two-thirds of the sun burst using a Blending Brush. Stamp onto layer again.
  5. Adhere sunburst layer to Basic Black layer so that the two layers are slightly askew. Adhere both layers to card base.
  6. Stamp "Wow" image from Conversation Bubbles onto Basic Black cardstock using Versamark.
  7. Add white embossing powder, remove excess, then heat emboss.
  8. Die cut using the coordinating die. Adhere to card front using dimensionals
