Beautifully Happy at Least Three Ways
I'll admit it...sometimes I like to (well...probably "need" to) knock out a card in a minute. At other times, I'm content to sit and do things that take more time, like coloring or fussy cutting. I'm going to walk you through what makes a card simple and how you can take the same simple concept and step it up.
The directions below are for the most involved card above...the center one.
Measurements
Thick Basic White Cardstock (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
Basic White Cardstock (4" x 5-1/4", scrap large enough for flower)
Basic Black Cardstock (3/4" x 1-1/2")
White Twine (8-9")
- Emboss the Basic White layer with the Brick & Mortar embossing folder, then adhere it to the card base using dimesionals.
- Stamp large flower image on Basic White scrap using Memento Tuxedo Black pad. Color image using the blends (colors shown below). Fussy cut.
- Adhere to card front using dimensionals.
- Create an "S" with the twine and squish it together before placing it on the card front where you want it to go. You may want to lay a little adhesive down to keep it in place.
- Stamp sentiment on Basic Black layer using Versamark, add white embossing powder, shake off excess and heat emboss. Adhere to card front over the twine. The righthand side will need to be adhered with a dimensional to even it out with the other side.
- Add three Iridescent Pastel Gems.
