Finishing up MY Christmas Cards
I heard the other day that the last mailing day to ensure delivery for Christmas, even for Christmas cards, is tomorrow. Yikes. I've mailed out a total of five so far, I think. Out of 100 or so.
Cardstock Measurements (complete list of supplies at the bottom of this post)
- Thick Basic White card base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded in half at 4 1/4")
- Basic White cardstock (4" x 5 1/4", scrap)
- Shaded Spruce cardstock (scrap)
Directions
- Use the Merry Melody embossing folder to emboss the Basic White layer. Adhere to the Thick Basic White card base.
- Stamp "Christmas Wishes" in Real Red ink onto Basic White scrap. Die cut using the frame with the holly leaves. Die cut the background of the leaves in Shaded Spruce at the same time.
- Apply dimensionals to the back of the sentiment frame, then add to the front of the card.
- Add groups of three red rhinestones at the base of each leaf.
- Stamp desired sentiment in Real Red ink inside, then stamp the berries in Real Red (solid image) and Cherry Cobbler (detail image).
- Stamp a coordinating envelope, if desired.
