A Snowman from a Penguin?
Yes, a snowman from a penguin. Isn't that clever? Wish I had come up with that idea. I don't know who did (I've seen it done a lot), but it was genius!
Paper Measurements (complete list of supplies at the bottom of this post)
- Pool Party card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
- Pool Party scrap (large enough for label)
- Sweetest Christmas DSP (4" x 5-1/4")
- Basic White scrap
- Basic Black scrap
Directions
- Punch snowman body from Basic White scrap. Punch just the bottom of the same image so that you get what would've been the tips of the penguin's/snowman's hands and base. This will be the hat. Repeat and trim just the area by the "hands" to make the hat brim. Glue pieces together.
- Stamp scarf in Real Red ink.
- Stamp one eye at a time in Memento Tuxedo Black so you can make them closer. Use this same image to add buttons.
- Draw in carrot nose with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write marker of Stampin' Blends.
- Adhere hat to snowman.
- Die cut label, then stamp snowflakes on it using Pool Party ink. Stamp sentiment in Basic Black.
- Adhere DSP to card base with multipurpose glue.
- Add label using dimensionals.
- Apply multipurpose glue to the top portion of the snowman and add a dimensional to the bottom and adhere to card front.
- Add three little Red Rhinestones.
- Stamp inside and envelope as desired.
