12 Sundays of Christmas - #11 (Tea Bag Holder)

On the 11th Sunday of Christmas, Sharon shared with me... a Christmas-y tea bag holder!

Cardstock/Ribbon Measurement (complete list of supplies at the bottom of this post)

  • Crumb Cake cardstock(3-1/2" 10-1/2")
  • Evening Evergreen cardstock (two 3-1/8" x 3-1/8")
  • Basic White cardstock (two 3" x 3")
  • Real Red Glimmer paper (scrap)
  • Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (18-20")

Directions
  1. Score the Crumb Cake cardstock on the long side at 3-1/2" and 7".
  2. Using your paper trimmer, cut the top right diagonal off the last square of the Crumb Cake cardstock.
  3. Add Tear & Tape along the bottom of the resulting (attached) triangle, remove backing, and fold in toward the center. This should give you a pocket for the tea bag.
  4. Stamp wreath onto one of the Basic White squares in Evening Evergeen ink, then add pine needle images over the top, also in Evening Evergreen ink. Adhere to one of the Evening Evergreen squares.
  5. On the other Basic White square, stamp the pine needles across the top in Evening Evergreen ink, then Merry Christmas in Real Red ink. Adhere this layer to the remaining Evening Evergreen square and then to the left inside panel of the tea bag holder.
  6. Add dimensionals in the four corners of the wreath-stamped layer, then add another in the middle.
  7. Wrap ribbon around the holder, even the ends, then add the front layer to the front of the holder. The middle dimensional should hold down the ribbon.
  8. Write a sentiment inside, add a tea bag, then close holder and tie a bow.
  9. Die cut bow from Real Red glimmer paper, then adhere to the wreath. Add Red Rhinestones as desired.
