Penguin Wishes for a Cool Friend

I was late to the penguin game, passing them over last year and only purchasing them this year, but they sure are cute!

Paper Measurement (full list of supplies at the bottom of this post)

  • Orchid Oasis (5-1/2" x 4-1/4", scrap)
  • Basic White (3-1/4" x 11"scored and folded in half at 5-1/2", scrap)
  • Basic Black (scrap)
  • Pumpkin Pie (scrap)
Directions
  1. On Orchid Oasis layer, stamp snowflakes in Orchid Oasis ink down both edges.
  2. Softly apply Orchid Oasis ink with a Blending Brush to the upper 60% of the card in a circular motion.
  3. Punch the penguin body from Basic Black scrap, the penguin bib/face from Basic White, and punch two feet from Pumpkin Pie scrap.
  4. Stamp eyes onto the face portion of the Basic White punch using Memento Tuxedo Black and the beak using Pumpkin Pie ink. Adhere this layer to the Basic Black penguin punch. Adhere feet to the penguin.
  5. Stamp bow tie and knit hat images in Orchid Oasis ink onto Orchid Oasis scrap and cut out. Be sure to leave a tab underneath the hat to attach to penguin. Adhere these elements to the penguin.
  6. Adhere snowflake to the card over the Orchid Oasis inked area, then adhere penguin using dimesionals.
  7. Stamp greeting in the lower portion of the card using Orchid Oasis ink.
  8. Add Iridescent Rhinestones as desired to front of card.
  9. Adhere the Basic White card to the Orchid Oasis base.
  10. On the inside of the card, stamp sentiment, snowflakes and present(s) as desired.
  11. Stamp snowflakes down the left front edge of the envelope.
