There's Gnome Season Like Fall!
I love fall. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that on more than one occasion. The colors are so rich and vibrant. While playing with my Gnomes Dies, I decided to create a Fall Gnome to celebrate two things I love, gnomes and fall.
Consumable Supplies with Measurements (complete list of supplies at the bottom of this post)
- Cajun Craze card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4")
- Basic White layer (4" x 5-1/4")
- Cajun Craze cardstock (1-1/4" x 2-3/8" and scrap)
- Rustic Harvest DSP (B&W acorn design: 4" x 5-1/4", yellow or green design: 1-5/8" x 2-1/4", Dotted Cajun design: 1-3/4" x 1-1/4")
- Mossy Meadow scrap
- Basic White scrap
- Blush Blossom scrap
- Linen Thread (about 16")
Directions
- Adhere the B&W acorn DSP to the Cajun Craze card base.
- Die cut the beard from Basic White scrap, pants/feet from Dotted Cajun design, nose from Blush Blossom scrap, hat from yellow or green design, grass from Mossy Meadow scrap, mushroom stem from Sahara Sand scrap and mushroom cap from Cajun Craze scrap.
- Adhere nose to the beard as indicated in the design of the beard.
- Adhere hat to beard. (Note: you can reverse Steps 3 and 4 depending on how large you want the gnome's nose to appear).
- Apply dimensionals to the back of the gnome and the back of the gnome's pants, then apply to card front.
- Stamp sentiment on Cajun Craze rectangle, just under center line. Flag bottom of this layer.
- Wrap Linen Thread around the layer and tie in a bow. Adhere to card front with dimensionals.
- Adhere Basic White layer to inside of card, then add grass and mushroom pieces.
