Christmas is coming! Create a beautiful Christmas floral spray on paper.
This card is sooooo me. I love white on white. And I love vibrant colors on white. And the Christmas Banners bundle makes it so easy to build a beautiful floral spray to go under a banner greeting.
Cardstock Measurements
- Thick Basic White (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
- Basic White layer (4" x 5-1/4")
- Basic White scrap (at least 1-1/2" x 5")
Directions
- Take the banner die and lay it where you want to banner to go on your card. Lightly trace the inside of the banner die with a pencil. This will give you a guideline where to anchor your images.
- Beginning with the largest greenery, stamp it 4-5 times around your banner markers using Garden Green ink. Vary the angles somewhat, but try to keep the design balanced.
- Take the next largest leafy image and stamp it 4-5 times using Old Olive ink.
- Stamp the 4-5 fir sprigs using Garden Green ink.
- Stamp the stem for the berries 4-5 times using Soft Suede ink.
- Stamp the berries (lined up with the stems) using Real Red ink.
- Fill in any bare spots using the holly leaf and Soft Sea Foam (or Pear Pizzazz) ink.
- To create an embossed banner, ink up the banner image in Versamark, then Garden Green ink and stamp onto the Basic White scrap. Working quickly, repeat this process with "Merry" and "Christmas", then pour clear embossing powder over the banner. Shake off excess powder then heat emboss.
- Die cut the banner using the coordinating die. Attach to card using dimensionals.
- Add Basic Rhinestones to card front.
- Stamp inside and envelope to coordinate.
