Repeat Stamping with a Stamparatus

The Stamparatus is a stamp-positioning tool that has a wide range of uses. The hinged plates allow you to do repeat stamping simply and quickly. Here are two examples of repeat stamping.

Measurements (for the Fresh Freesia card on the left)

  • Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (3-1/4" x 4-1/2")
  • Basic Black cardstock (3-3/8" x 4-5/8")
  • 2021-2023 In Color DSP (4" x 5-1/4")
Directions
  1.  Place Basic White layer onto Stamparatus (photopolymer stamps such as Biggest Wish require the use of the foam mat) and secure with magnets.
  2. Position HAPPY onto the left side of the cardstock where you'd like it to begin. I like to start with it partially off the top of the layer. Close the hinged plate of the Stamparatus to adhere stamp to the plate.
  3. Ink stamp and close hinged plate, and press over the stamp area, transferring ink to the cardstock.
  4. Remove plate from Stamparatus and replace it after moving it down one place. Reink and stamp as before.
  5. Repeat Step 4, but ink and stamp this 3-4 times so that this HAPPY is darker than the others.
  6. Repeat Step 4, stamping only once, then repeat one last time to fill the left side.
  7. Ink "birthday" in Memento Tuxedo Black and stamp as shown.
  8. Adhere stamped layer to the Basic Black layer.
  9. Adhere DSP layer to the card base, then the stamped layer on top of that.
  10. Add rhinestones as desired.
  11. Decorate the inside and envelope with DSP or stamps as desired.

Here's a video showing how you can use the Stamparatus to mass produce die cut images in far less time than if stamping and die-cutting without one:
