Mask a Monochromatic, Geometric Masterpiece

 Simple doesn't have to mean boring! This card, with it's striking lines and one color makes a statement and whomever receives it will love it. Measurements (complete list of supplies can be found at the end of this post) Bermuda Bay card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4") Basic White layers (3-7/8" x 4-1/2", 4" x 5-1/4") Masking paper (enough for four 1/2" strips and size to cover floral image) Black Baker's Twine (13-14") Directions Cut four strips of masking paper, each 1/2" wide. Stamp floral image in the center of the 3-7/8" x 4-1/2" Basic White layer using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Use the die that coordinates with the flower image you used to cut a matching mask from the masking paper. Sending a Sunny Hello

 Kids are heading to college which means...in a week or two they're going to be missing those of us at home! Send them some cheer in the form of a hand stamped card with a meaningful note of encouragement inside! I recently received my August Paper Pumpkin kit in the mail and had some cute little bees left over, so I decided to create a quick and simple card using the same colors from the kit and my Sending Smiles stamp set. This stamp set is so great for sending all kinds of wishes!  Because this card is just one Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4"), there's no need for me to have a Measurements section as I normally do! Repeat Stamping with a Stamparatus

 The Stamparatus is a stamp-positioning tool that has a wide range of uses. The hinged plates allow you to do repeat stamping simply and quickly. Here are two examples of repeat stamping. Measurements (for the Fresh Freesia card on the left) Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4") Basic White cardstock (3-1/4" x 4-1/2") Basic Black cardstock (3-3/8" x 4-5/8") 2021-2023 In Color DSP (4" x 5-1/4") Directions  Place Basic White layer onto Stamparatus (photopolymer stamps such as Biggest Wish require the use of the foam mat) and secure with magnets. Position HAPPY onto the left side of the cardstock where you'd like it to begin. I like to start with it partially off the top of the layer. Close the hinged plate of the Stamparatus to adhere stamp to the plate. Ink stamp and close hinged plate, and press over the stamp area, transferring ink to the cardstock. It's Too Hot to be Hip(po)

 Wow, it's been hot here in Maine this week! I'm thankful for air conditioning, that's for sure! But there are other ways to cool off and this hippo from Hippest Hippos has found one that works for him! Measurements (full list of supplies at post's end) Thick Basic White card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored in half at 5-1/2") Basic White cardstock (3" x 4-1/4", 2-3/4" x 4", scrap) Tahitian Tide DSP (4" x 5-1/4", 2-1/4" x 4") Silver Foil scrap Sweet Sorbet scrap Tahitian Tide scrap Parakeet Party scrap Directions Cut the 4-1/4" x 11" card base at 8". Fold along score line (5-1/2" mark). Adhere the larger piece of Tahitian Tide DSP on the inside of the card base. Adhere the smaller piece of Tahitial Tide DSP on the short side of the card base.
