My Little Gnome-y Wants to Sit a Spell

Oh my goodness...the Kindest Gnomes set is a definite MUST HAVE! They are so adorable. And while they are dressed for winter, you can certainly make them into summer dudes. This card, inspired by a fellow demonstrator, Su Mohr, is just a PERFECT summer card.

Measurements

  • Basic White card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")*
  • Basic White layer (3-3/4" x 5")
  • Soft Sea Foam layer (3-7/8" x 5-1/8")*
Note: I used a Soft Sea Foam card base in the video. It was from the Cards & Envelopes Sale-a-bration selection.

Directions
  1. Stamp the German cornflower in Gorgeous Grape so that the top of the tallest flower is about 3/4" from the top and left side of the Basic White layer.
  2. Stamp the seated gnome in Memento Tuxedo Black under the shorter flower.
  3. Color the gnome as desired. When coloring with Stampin' Blends, lay a base of the lighter shade first, then add shading with the darker shade.
  4. Add sparkle to the gnomes beard with Wink of Stella.
  5. Draw in your own grass with the Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends.
  6. Mount Basic White layer onto Soft Sea Foam layer, then onto card base with your preferred adhesive.
