Quick and Simple for the Win!

 I needed a quick card that I could make from a remote location as I was preparing for my New Catalog Launch Party. The new Good Feelings set, an In Color and the new Sun Prints DSP did just the trick!



Measurements (full list of supplies can be found at the bottom of this post)
  • Starry Sky card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Sun Prints DSP (4" x 5-1/4", 4" x 1/2")
  • Basic White layer (3" x 4-1/4", 4" x 5-1/4")
Directions
  1. Adhere large piece of DSP to front of card base.
  2. Stamp "Sending Sunshine..." sentiment on the smaller Basic White layer using Starry Sky ink. I stamped slightly on the diagonal.
  3. Affix dimensionals to the back of the Basic White layer and adhere to card front on a diagonal.
  4. Add rhinestones as desired.
  5. Adhere small strip of DSP near the bottom of the larger Basic White layer, then adhere this to the inside of the card.

 It was rainy and cool all day today, but that's not going to dampen my beach vibes! I was inspired by a card done by a German demonstrator named Antje to create this sweet little card featuring the On the Horizon bundle from the Jan-June mini catalog. This bundle will be retiring at the end of June, but since I live in a beach community, I can't see it retiring from my collection any time soon. Who Wants Some Apple Cider?

 It's apple season in Maine. I have to be honest, I don't pick a lot of apples. Or drink a lot of apple cider. But I do love apple cider doughnuts, so that counts, right? Tonight, I featured the More than Autumn bundle, which was also featured in my Sept. 24th Tune in Tuesday class. I love this bundle and think you will also! Measurements Crumb Cake card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4") Splendid Autumn DSP (medium green background and deep red background, each 3" x 4-1/2", plus a scrap of the deep red background) Basic White cardstock (5/8" x 3", scraps) Directions Adhere green background layer to card base on an angle, then add the red background layer on top, at a different angle.  Die cut circle from Basic White cardstock. Changing Leaves...not quite yet!

 It's still summery here in southern Maine, but the nights are getting cooler and it won't be long before the leaves begin changing. Until then, I have a card for you made with the Changing Leaves bundle, an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up! It's currently on backorder, but should be in the week of September 9th.
