Daisies...or bunnies?

This week is a busy week for me. I'm responsible for a lot of the advance work of Easter where I work, I've got a Kit workshop on Friday, my all-day Rethink the Reink(er) Block Party on Saturday, and a Kit workshop on Sunday. So...I needed something quick and simple for my Friday Night (Not So) Live this week. And this card, by my fellow demo and friend, Kim Wilson, fit the bill!

Supplies

  • Thick Basic White card (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4")
  • Simply Marbleous DSP (two 2" x 5-1/4", one 1" x 3-3/4")
  • Basic White cardstock (medium/large scrap)

Directions
  1. Adhere the Gorgeous Grape DSP to the bottom of the card front and the Pool Party Marbleous DSP on the top half of the card front.
  2. Stamp "Happy Easter" on the Blushing Bride Marbleous DSP in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Adhere this layer to the center of the card.
  3. Cut each daisy in half, then trim away the petals on each end of three of the halves, keeping the circular form in the middle.
  4. Add color to the ears using a Blushing Bride (Stampin' Write or  Blend).
  5. Add eyes to each bunny using a Basic Black marker (Stampin' Write or Blend).
  6. Adhere bunnies to the top of the Blushing Bride strip.
  7. Add a rhinestone on each side of the sentiment layer.
  8. Adhere a strip of DSP to the inside of the card and the envelope to coordinate.
