Do You Wordle?

Do you play Wordle? I do. I actually play Wordle, Quordle (4 at a time), Octordle (8 at a time) and Nerdle (math version). I have one friend with whom I share my results and he shares his. We're both nerds, I know. Several weeks ago, I saw a card by a fellow demonstrator, Ashley Fifer, that was Wordle-inspired and perfect for my friend. Perhaps you have some Wordlers in your life who might like this card!

Measurements
  • Basic Black card (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4")
  • Basic Black layer (5-1/2" x 2-5/16")
  • Basic White (4" x 5-1/4", two 5-1/2" X 1/2" strips, scraps)
  • Basic Gray scrap
  • Granny Apple Green scrap
  • Daffodil Delight scrap

Directions
  1. Adhere Basic White scrap(s) to an adhesive sheet. Die cut the letters and hyphen (which is half of the equal sign).
  2. Cut four 1" Basic Gray squares (one of these is for the inside of the card).
  3. Cut two 1" Daffodil Delight squares (one of these is for the inside of the card).
  4. Cut eight 1" Granny Apple Green squares (two of these are for the inside of the card).
  5. Lay the squares out on the Basic Black layer until satisfied with the spacing. Adhere in place using liquid glue. If you don't press down very hard initially, you'll be able to manipulate these for a couple minutes.
  6. Remove adhesive backing from letters and place onto their respective squares.
  7. Adhere Basic White strips on either side of the Basic Black layer. Adhere to card using dimensionals.
  8. Adhere squares down the left side of the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White layer, then adhere to the inside of the card. Stamp a sentiment as desired.
