Chalkboard Mouse

I created this card a month ago and am just now deciding to share it with you all. There's so many cards...so little time!

Measurements
  • Stampin' Up! Notecard (5" x 7", folded in half at 3-1/2")
  • Basic Black layer (2-3/4" x 4-1/4")
  • Daffodil Delight layers (3" x 4-1/2", large scrap at least 2" x 5-1/4")
Directions
  1. Stamp the mouse-in-the-cheese image in the center of the Basic Black layer, using VersaMark ink.
  2. Stamp "Say Cheese" in the upper left corner, also using VersaMark ink.
  3. Pour white embossing powder over stamped areas and tap off excess. Heat using heat tool.
  4. If desired, sponge some Craft White ink in areas to give the appearance of the chalkboard having been erased in the past.
  5. If desired, add decorative dots using Stampin' Chalk Marker.
  6. Adhere Basic Black layer to the 3" x 4-1/2" Daffodil Delight layer, angling slightly.
  7. Adhere these two layers to the notecard so that the Basic Black layer is squared up with the notecard.
  8. Insert the scrap of Daffodil Delight into the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder and run through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine.
  9. Adhere to the envelope flap and trim.
