Calming Camellia is a Beaut!

My Facebook Live tonight featured the beautiful Calming Camellia set, which is a Host set from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. It's truly lovely, very easy to work with, and has several great sentiments.

Measurements
  • Basic Black card base (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", folded in half at 4-1/4")
  • Petal Pink layer (4" x 5-1/4"_
  • Basic White layers (4-1/4" x 5-1/2", 4" x 5-1/4")
  • 1/8" Petal Pink cotton ribbon (about 18")
Directions
  1. Stamp the large floral image in the center of the larger Basic White layer using Memento Tuxedo  Black ink. Let set for a moment.
  2. Color in the stem, leaves and portions of the flower petals using Stampin' Blends. I also added a light wash of color to the splotchy background using a Soft Sea Foam Blend.
  3. Die cut the stamped layer using the largest rectangle from the Scalloped Contours dies.
  4. Thread the ribbon through a hold on each side and tie a bow in the front. Trim ends.
  5. Mount this layer onto the Petal Pink layer, then onto the Basic Black card.
  6. On the smaller Basic White layer, stamp the large floral image in Petal Pink, then a sentiment of choice on top of that using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Adhere this layer to the inside of the card.
  7. Stamp the image on the envelope in Petal Pink
