Sweet Treat Box
While I love creating cards for others, I also love giving little treats, and Stampin' Up!'s Sweet Little Boxes are just perfect for doing that. This little box can hold yummy candy, or it can hold a gift card!
- Basic Black cardstock (7" x 2-3/8", scored in half at 3-1/2", and a medium scrap)
- Basic White cardstock (3-1/4" x 2-1/8" and a medium scrap)
- Real Red cardstock (medium scrap)
- Red Faux Linen Ribbon (about 18")
Directions
- Mount the X and O stamps on one block and stamp on a diagonal all over the Sweet Little Box (adhesive side up). Do the same on the 3-1/4" x 2-1/8" Basic White piece. Allow the box to dry fully. You can use a heat tool to speed up the process.
- Stamp the Luv U stamp in Memento Black, then stamp the fill heart in Real Red.
- Die cut the heart you just stamped, the tag from Basic Black cardstock, and a large heart and small hearts from Real Red. You can do these all with one pass of the Stampin' Cut & Emboss.
- From the leftovers of the Basic White scrap, cut a little strip that is about 3/8" wide, attach to the front of the Basic Black tag and trim the edges. Attach Luv U heart on top using a dimensional.
- Remove adhesive backing and form the box. Wrap ribbon around, thread through Black tag and tie in a bow.
- Attach hearts to the front of the stamped Basic White cardstock. Attach to Basic Black mini card. Add a gift card to the inside using glue dots. If desired, cut another piece of Basic White cardstock so you can write a greeting on the inside.
