11th Sunday of Christmas
On the 11th Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me... a Ghirardelli chocolate pouch.
Measurements (Video tutorial and full list of supplies used can be found at the bottom of this post)
- DSP (3-1/4" x 5")
- Coordinating DSP (scrap)
- Evening Evergreen cardstock (scrap)
- Basic White cardstock (scrap)
Directions
- On the wrong side of the DSP, apply Tear & Tape to the edges of both long sides and one short side. Remove backing.
- Fold the flaps of the Ghirardelli treat in so they don't get caught on the Tear & Tape and place the chocolate in the center of your DSP.
- Wrap the non-taped edge over and then overlap with the other short edge.
- Squeeze the ends well to get the tape to stick.
- Using the Layering Circles dies, cut the second smallest plain circle from coordinating DSP and the second smallest scalloped circle from the Evening Evergreen scrap. Adhere these two layers together and then adhere to the center of the pouch.
- Stamp "Tis the Season" in Real Red on Basic White scrap and fussy cut around the sentiment.
- Adhere sentiment to the circles using mini dimensionals.
Note: You could quite easily only apply Tear & Tape to the center 50% of the long sides since you'll be squeezing it together with the two ends. That'll save a little tape. I would probably use a 3" piece on each side just to make sure I get it all adhered.
