10th Sunday of Christmas

On the 10th Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me... a window bag filled with Kisses and love.

This fun little bag gives the recipient a sneak peak of the treats inside and it's very easy to make! Here's a template to show you how the DSP will look before you put the bag together.

Measurements (a video tutorial and a complete list of supplies can be found at the end of this post)
  • Designer Series Paper (6" x 8")
  • Basic Whisper White (scrap)
  • Window Sheet (size should be about 3/4" greater in each dimension than the die you'll be using for the window)
  • Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (about 10")
  • White Baker's Twin (about 4")
Directions
  1. Using the Simply Scored tool, score on the long side of the DSP at 1/2", 3", 4-1/4" and 6-3/4".
  2. Rotate a quarter turn and score at 4-1/4".
  3. Burnish the score lines.
  4. Trim the smallest rectangle off, mitering the edge of the adjacent 1/2" tab.
  5. Add Tear & Tape to the 1/2" tab, the bottom two square flaps, and the rectangular flap nearest the 1/2" tab.
  6. Die cut the shape desired in the front panel of the bag (the one connected to the flap without tape).
  7. Apply Tear & Tape to the edges of the window sheet and adhere to the inside of the bag over the hole made by the die cut.
  8. Remove adhesive backing from the Tear & Tape and form the bag.
  9. Holding the corners of the top of the bag so the sides fold in.
  10. Punch holes in the top of the bag, thread ribbon through the holes and tie a bow.
  11. Using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, create a tag. Make a hole in the end, stamp To/From on the tag. Add a little strip of DSP to the end of the tag and affix to bag using twine.
