Peaceful Cabin Two Ways

One of my team members swapped sets with me temporarily this past week, so I had to take advantage of the opportunity and made a couple cards VERY quickly before I left on vacation. Loved them so much I decided to turn them into a Friday Night Live.

Peaceful Cabin is such a wonderful set! It's EASY to create beautiful, serene cards. A complete list of products used on both cards can be found at the bottom of this post, as can the link to the Facebook Live video.

Measurements

  • Basic Gray or Evening Evergreen card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded at 4-1/4")
  • Basic White layers, same for both versions (two 4" x 5-1/4",  and one that is at least 3" tall x 5-1/4")
Directions
  1. Stamp trees near the top of one of the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White pieces, using Basic Gray ink for the gray card and Evening Evergreen for the color card. Stamp some full strength and stamp again to give the appearance of trees in the background. Adhere to card base.
  2. On the smaller piece of Basic White, stamp the cabin image about 1-1/4" from the bottom, suing Basic Gray ink for the gray card and Soft Suede ink for the color card. Die cut. You'll probably have to snip the edge of the paper as the cabin die is not as long as the piece you are working with.
  3. Add a fox near the cabin, using Basic Gray ink for the gray card or Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the color card.
  4. Color in the fox, using Basic Gray for the gray card and Pumpkin Pie blends for the color card.
  5. Add sentiment to the bottom of the cabin layer, using Basic Gray ink for the gray card and Evening Evergreen for the color card.
  6. Apply dimensionals to the back of the cabin layer and adhere to tree layer.
  7. Stamp the inside as desired.
