6th Sunday of Christmas

On the 6th Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me...a hot chocolate treat box!

Stampin' Up!'s acetate card boxes make great packaging! Whether you are giving a box of your handcrafted cards or creating a special treat like the one shown above, a little wrap with a stamped image makes the gift extra special.

Measurements (full list of Stampin' Up! supplies listed at the bottom of the post)

  • Painted Christmas DSP (2" x 12" and four 1" x 3" pieces)
  • Basic White cardstock (2-3/8" x 3-5/8)
  • Real Red cardstock (2-1/2" x 3-3/4")
  • Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (18-20"), Kraft Baker's Twine (36-38")
Directions
  1. Wrap DSP around the box, creasing at the corners with your fingers as you go to get a nice, tight fit. This step is easier if you fill the box first.
  2. Stamp the seasonal bouquet image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink near the top of the Basic White layer.
  3. Stamp "Warming thoughts..." sentiment in Real Red near the bottom of the the Basic White layer.
  4. Color image as desired with Stampin' Blends.
  5. Adhere Basic White layer to Real Red layer.
  6. Wrap ribbon/twine around box and tie in a bow on the right-hand side of the front of the box, noting intended placement of your stamped component.
  7. Adhere stamped component to card with regular adhesive or dimensionals, making sure that it's only attached to the DSP belly band and not the box itself.
  8. Wrap Hershey's Nuggets with the 1" x 3" strips of DSP.
  9. Insert two packets of hot chocolate mix into box (if you didn't earlier), then insert wrapped Nuggets along the side of the box.

Here's the video tutorial  for you.
