5th Sunday of Christmas

 On the 5th Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me...a tag-wrapped gift box. This sweet box will hold sweet treats or trinkets and its presentation is darling! If you'd like to watch the video, there's a link further down.

Measurements (full list of supplies is at the bottom of this post)

• Evening Evergreen cardstock (7-1/2" x 7-1/2")
• Real Red cardstock (3/4" x 2-1/2")
• Painted Christmas DSP (12" x 1-1/4")
• White 3/8" Glittered Organdy (13-14")

Directions

1. Score Evening Evergreen piece on one side at 1-1/2", 3", 4-1/2", and 6".
2. Rotate a quarter turn and score at 1-1/2".
3. Rotate a half turn and score at 1-1/2" (this will be the side opposite the last one you did).
4. Burnish on all score lines with a bone folder.
5. Trim off all four corners, and cut on remaining 1-1/2" score lines. Mitre all but the two center tabs. Note that in the diagram below, the small mitred triangles aren't black (which means removed). It was too difficult in the program I was using to do that properly.
   
   
   
6. Flip cardstock over and apply adhesive of choice to mitred tabs. Form box.
7. Using Tag Topper Punch, punch each end of the DSP.
8. Wrap DSP around the box, using fingers to score. Burnish these score lines.
9. Apply a little adhesive to the bottom of the box and adhere the DSP wrap so that it doesn't move.
10. Create a tag from the Real Red piece using the Lovely Layers Pick a Punch and a small circle punch.
11. Stamp "To, From" on the Real Red piece.
12. Thread ribbon through each end of the DSP and also through the Real Red tag and tie in a bow.

Alternate Measurements

The measurements above are for the largest box.

Small Box

For the small box shown at the end of the video, use the following measurements:

• Evening Evergreen (5" x 6-1/2", scoring every 1" on the short side and 1" from each end of the long side)
• Painted Christmas DSP (11-1/4" x 7/8")

Medium Box

For something in between the size of the boxes shown, use the following measurements:

• Evening Evergreen (6-1/4" x 7", scoring at 1-1/4", 2-1/2", 3-3/4" and 5" on the short side and 1-1/4" from each end of the long side)
• Painted Christmas DSP (12" x 1")
