I'm so excited to be blogging again! I love posting on Facebook and doing my Friday Night Live events, but I know that sometimes you just want to go see some directions and not necessarily watch a video, expecially if you've already viewed it.

So this is where I'm going to post the written directions to my Friday Night Lives, as well as the list of supplies I used. As I re-learn the Blogger platform, I'll try to add things to make this blog as useful as possible.

It's Always Beach Time!

 It was rainy and cool all day today, but that's not going to dampen my beach vibes! I was inspired by a card done by a German demonstrator named Antje to create this sweet little card featuring the On the Horizon bundle from the Jan-June mini catalog. This bundle will be retiring at the end of June, but since I live in a beach community, I can't see it retiring from my collection any time soon. Measurements (complete supply list at the bottom of this post) Thick Basic White card base (5-1/2" 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/") Basic White scrap Old Olive scrap Chipboard or cardstock for template (4-1/2" x 5-1/2") Directions Cut a circle out of the template material where you want the circle to be on your finished project (centered horizontally but more toward the top than bottom). Who Wants Some Apple Cider?

 It's apple season in Maine. I have to be honest, I don't pick a lot of apples. Or drink a lot of apple cider. But I do love apple cider doughnuts, so that counts, right? Tonight, I featured the More than Autumn bundle, which was also featured in my Sept. 24th Tune in Tuesday class. I love this bundle and think you will also! Measurements Crumb Cake card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4") Splendid Autumn DSP (medium green background and deep red background, each 3" x 4-1/2", plus a scrap of the deep red background) Basic White cardstock (5/8" x 3", scraps) Directions Adhere green background layer to card base on an angle, then add the red background layer on top, at a different angle.  Die cut circle from Basic White cardstock. Changing Leaves...not quite yet!

 It's still summery here in southern Maine, but the nights are getting cooler and it won't be long before the leaves begin changing. Until then, I have a card for you made with the Changing Leaves bundle, an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up! It's currently on backorder, but should be in the week of September 9th. And in case you missed my Tune in Tuesday class a few days ago, I've linked to it after the link to the replay of my Friday Night Live where I created this card. Measurements Crumb Cake card base (4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded in half at 5-1/2") Basic White cardstock (4" x 5-1/4", various sizes of scraps for leaves and sentiment) Country Woods DSP (2-3/4" x 4") Linen Thread (four 6" lengths) Directions Adhere DSP layer to Basic White layer.
