3rd Sunday of Christmas

 On the 3rd Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me...a doorhanger to delight my friends, coworkers and neighbors! Full directions, as well as an instructional video follow. Template Measurements (complete list of supplies at end of post) Thick Basic White cardstock (4-1/4" x 11") Designer Series Paper (3" x 3-3/8", 3" x 4") Real Red cardstock (scrap) Basic White cardstock (scrap) Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (18-20") Directions With long side along trimmer bottom, score at 7" and 7-5/8". Rotate 90 degrees and score at 5/8". Repeat on other short edge. Mark 3-5/8" in from the long end (where the circle is in the diagram), just between the edge and the 5/8" score mark. Do this on both sides.  Using scissors or paper trimmer, remove the rectangles as shown in the diagram.  Burnish all score lines. Cut the tabs in the middle, mitering them as shown. Christmas Snowflakes Fun Fold

 SALE-a-bration is winding down, which means the Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper from the SAB brochure is only available for another week, as long as supplies last. I wanted to showcase one of my favorite papers from that collection AND, at the same time, teach you an easy fun fold. If you missed my Friday Night Video showing how to create this card, you can find it further down in this post. Measurements (Supplies pictured at the end of the post) Basic Black cardstock (4-1/4" x 11") Basic White cardstock (4" x 4-1/4", scrap that measures at least 2" x 3-1/2") Peaceful Prints DSP (4-1/4" x 4-1/2", 1/2" x 4-1/4") 13" B&W Gingham Ribbon Directions Score the Basic Black card base at 5-1/2" and 4-1/2". On the 2nd Sunday of Christmas, my demo shared with me...a 3-2-1 box! This box is easy to make and does not require a lot of product.  Supplies Needed: Cardstock that coordinates with Designer Series Paper (4" x 9") Designer Series Paper  2-3/4" x 1-3/4" (2) 2-3/4" x 3/4" (2) 1-3/4" x 3/4" White Glittered Organdy Ribbon Paper Trimmer (and, optionally, Simply Scored tool) Stampin' Seal + (or Tear & Tape) Regular adhesive Paper Snips Directions:       1.  On the long edge of the piece of cardstock, score at 1", 4", 5" and 8".      2.  Turn cardstock and score the short side at 1" and 3".      3.  Burnish along all fold lines.      4.  Along the long edges, cut up 1" on all the score lines. Miter all the square pieces.      5.  Flip cardstock over and apply DSP to one of the large rectangles and all four smaller rectangles            adjacent to it...

Fall Ferns

 Today I have a simple, yet classy fall card for you using a set that most people would relegate to the spring/summer months. Simply by changing the color scheme, the set gets new life in the fall and, by changing it again, could make beautiful winter cards. For the link to the video for this card, scroll down. Supplies/Measurements Early Espresso Card Base (4-1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5-1/2") Cork Specialty Paper (4" x 5-1/4", scrap for inside) Very Vanilla layer for inside (4" x 5-1/4") Very Vanilla scraps (one that is at least 3" x 4-1/4", and two smaller ones to accommodate the stamps) Bumble Bee ribbon (approximately 10") Directions Cut the Cork Specialty Paper diagonally, so that the cut is 1-1/2 to 2" below one corner and a similar amount above the opposite corner. 1st Sunday of Christmas (2021)

 For my first 12 Sundays of Christmas post, I've got a lovely little gift card holder. It's made from one of our ombre bags and couldn't be more simple to put together. Supplies Needed Evergreen Elegance bundle Evening Evergreen ombre bag Evening Evergreen cardstock (1-1/2" x 5", 3-1/4" x 4-1/2") Basic White cardstock (3" x 4-1/4") Real Red (or Cherry Cobbler) ink Evening Evergreen ink 16" Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave ribbon 3 Basic Rhinestones Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Directions With the front of the bag down (seam up), fold the bag almost in half so that the jagged edge is about 3/4" from the other edge. With the Evergreen border punch, punch twice to make a continuous row of trees. Adhere trees to front of bag, just slightly above center. Stamp "Merry Christmas" in Real Red (or Cherry Cobbler) ink about 1/2" from the fold. Wrap ribbon around folded bag and tie in a knot on the left or the right side. Add...
