What's Gray and White and Pink All Over?

Image
I'm just a few days away from a week-long getaway to Las Vegas, where I'll be attending Stampin' Up!'s BackStage event for leaders, and doing some vacationing with my husband on either side of it. So I've been trying to tie up loose ends and get things ready for the event, and in place at my full-time job. One of my coworkers is about to welcome a new baby into his family and it could very well happen while I'm gone, so I thought I'd make a card just to be prepared for the happy event. The baby is a girl, so I had to reach for the pink. I know pink is very stereortypical, but I just love it with gray and I knew I wanted to use my new Little Dreamers bundle, so... Fill you life with JOY!

I shot tonight's Friday Night Live in Pittsburg, NH, my younger son's most favorite place in the world. He doesn't do anything special here, he just hangs out in the family cabin. And so, in honor of the joy that this place brings to him, I'm creating a JOY FOLD card.  Note: The card above is a variation of the one I did on the video. Here I used Lemon Lime cardstock, Pretty Peacock ink and different designs from the DSP. It's otherwise the same. The directions below are for the card above. Grateful to Hit the Beach

Image
I don't ever go to the beach during the daytime in the summer...too busy, but I am grateful for those times when I can head down and relax on a warm night, or take in the beauty with a walk in the morning. It really is a very serene place to go...when it's not packed with tourists, lol. But I'm thankful for them, too, because they keep my taxes down.                                                                           full card photo coming soon Cardstock Supplies with Measurements Boho Blue card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4") Basic White cardstock (3-1/4" x 4", 4" x 5-1/4", scrap) Night of Navy cardstock (scrap) Directions Using the large rectangular image from the Oceanfront set, stamp the sky in Balmy Blue onto scratch paper, th...
