I created this card a month ago and am just now deciding to share it with you all. There's so many cards...so little time! Measurements Stampin' Up! Notecard (5" x 7", folded in half at 3-1/2") Basic Black layer (2-3/4" x 4-1/4") Daffodil Delight layers (3" x 4-1/2", large scrap at least 2" x 5-1/4") Directions Stamp the mouse-in-the-cheese image in the center of the Basic Black layer, using VersaMark ink.  Stamp "Say Cheese" in the upper left corner, also using VersaMark ink. Pour white embossing powder over stamped areas and tap off excess. Heat using heat tool. If desired, sponge some Craft White ink in areas to give the appearance of the chalkboard having been erased in the past. If desired, add decorative dots using Stampin' Chalk Marker. Adhere Basic Black layer to the 3" x 4-1/2" Daffodil Delight layer, angling slightly. Adhere these two layers to the notecard so that the Basic Black layer is squared u...

With less than two weeks left of Sale-a-Bration, I thought I'd pull out one of the free SAB sets I received to show you a card perfect to celebrate the car-lover in your life. Stamp the car in Read Red ink (or you can use Memento) in the lower left corner of the larger Basic White layer and also the envelope. Adhere Basic White layer to the inside of the card. Nothing's Better Than a Decorative Mask!

Image
On tonight's Friday Night Live, I showed how to create a beautiful filigree background using a decorative mask, an ink pad and a blending brush. Measurements Magenta Madness card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored in half at 4-1/4") Magenta Madness layer (4" x 5-1/4") Basic White layers (4" x 5-1/4", large scrap or several smaller scraps) Directions Add the filigree background to the Magenta Madness layer using the filigree mask, Magenta Madness ink and a blending brush. Adhere to the front of the card base. Using a sheet of copy paper or a grid sheet, mask off all but 3/4" - 1" of the righthand side of the Basic White layer that measures 4" x 5-1/4"), then add the filigree background as you did in Step 1. Adhere to the inside of the card. Protecting all but the flap of the envelope, add filigree to the flap using the method in Steps 1 and 2. Stamp the solid chocolate image in Cinnamon Cider 3-4 times on the Basic White scrap, then ...
