Pretty Flowers, Pretty Colors

I haven't played with Summer Splash much since this In Color debuted in May. I vowed to use it for my Friday Night Live this week and I stumbled upon a gorgeous color combination: Summer Splash, Petunia Pop and Night of Navy. I took a stamp/die bundle that looks (and is) simple to use and created a beauty of card, based on the design of one of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team members. Measurements of Consumables Summer Splash card base (5-1/2" x 8-1/2", scored and folded in half at 4-1/4") Basic White cardstock (two 4" x 5-1/4", scraps) Pool Party cardstock (1/2" x 3") In Color 6x6 DSP (Summer Splash, circles pattern) Essentials Twine (white, 8-9") Directions Die cut three label shapes from one of the Basic White layers, off-setting them as shown. Emboss the die cut Basic White layer using the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. Adhere the DSP to the card base, then add the embossed Basic White layer to the card front using Dimensio...

At last week's Thoughtful Journey Stamp Camp, I introduced a 6-piece puzzle slider card. I had taken seen examples of a 4-piece and an 8-piece, but not a 6-piece, so I did some math and designed one specifically for the class. This is that card: I will provide measurements for the basics of the 6-piece at the end of this post, but for tonight, I'm focusing on the 4-piece puzzle slider card and using the Flowering Zinnias DSP, which is an Online Exclusive. BTW, there is a coordinating stamp and die bundle that coordinates with the DSP and it's part of the stamp-a-die-bundle sale all this month! Measurements Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (9-1/2" x 4-1/4") Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (two 2-1/8" x 2-1/4") Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (two 2-1/8" x 3-1/4") Basic White cardstock (5-1/4" x 4", scrap) Flowering Zinnia DSP Zinnia stems pattern (5" x 3-3/4"... landscape orientation) Tiny zinnia pattern (1" x 5-1/4") Directions S...

At my last team meeting, we held a Shoebox Swap, where team members prepare the supplies for everyone to create one of their designed cards. Team member Rachel Sherman shared a Diagonal Z Fold and so I thought I'd share it with you! The prints on the Wildly Flowering DSP are perfect for this and really made a simple card look extra special. Measurements (DSP should be portrait orientation) Misty Moonlight: 8-1/2" x 11" (will make two bases) Basic White cardstock: 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" DSP Pattern 1 (Misty Moonlight monochromatic flowers): 4" x 5-1/4" DSP Pattern 2 (Crumb Cake linen pattern): 3-1/2" x 4-1/2" DSP Pattern 3 (Misty Moonlight with White and Wild Wheat flowers): 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim (Boho Blue): 7" Directions With the Misty Moonlight cardstock in landscape orientation, measure down 3" from the top edge on the left side and make a mark. Then measure up 3" from the bottom right edge and mak...
